The First Tree

Planted by Cramond Primary and Cargilfield School pupils on 4 November 2021

This, the first tree of the project, is a sessile oak positioned on the approach to Cramond Kirk Halls.  It commemorates the many losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic; be this loss of life, loss of time at school, loss of time with family and friends and all the unwelcome consequences this period inflicted on our society.
